notes a note from the founder ·

everything after the call is regret or learning.

i keep coming back to one uncomfortable fact about selling.

the number can only move while you are talking to the customer. on the call. across the counter. while the quote is open and someone is typing.

that is the whole window.

the calldecisions happen herethe postmortemregret · learning

almost everything built to “help sales” lives outside that window. dashboards, reports, BI, the monday meeting. all of it looks backward at orders that already closed. you find out a customer dropped their usual 12 kg of ham three weeks after they dropped it.

and what can you do with that? two things. regret it, or learn from it. both are fine. neither moves an order that already shipped.

the one person who can still move the number is the rep, mid-conversation. and we hand them nothing. the CRM is where they type what happened. the report is where a manager reads what happened. the best rep walks in with years of account memory, the new rep walks in with a blank quote. same screen, wildly different game.

three weeks later

”why did Cafe Mujica order less last month?“

on the call

”they usually take 12 kg of Jamon Cocido. ask about it.”

so the idea, said plainly: put the knowing inside the window. the moment the customer is picked, brief the rep like their sharpest colleague leaning over: what this customer usually buys, where they are quietly trading down, the exact words to say. one click to act. while the order is still editable.

that is the whole thesis of Nanti Sales Coach. not smarter reports. a voice at the only moment a voice can matter.

reports are for learning. calls are for deciding. we build for the call.

if you sell on Odoo, watch it work. it is more fun than reading about it.
